CESSNOCK MINI BIKE CLUB NOMINATED FOR CLUB OF THE YEAR

Cessnock Minibike Club is 1 of 5 clubs in NSW who have been nominated for 2009 MNSW Club of the Year, the winner will be announced at the Night of Champions. We are not only honoured to be nominated but also looking forward to celebrate our nomination at the gala event.  This is a true reflection on our club and club members, we should all be very proud to be Cessnock members.   

Annual General Meeting (AGM) 

Please be aware that we intend on holding our Annual General Meeting at the club on the 23rd November 2008 but will be taking nominations at the next pointscore on the 26th October 2008.  This years committee will be standing aside to let some new blood come in and take over the reigns of Cessnock Mini Bike Club to ensure the club keeps moving forward.  Please keep this in mind between now and the next pointscore as these positions will need to be filled for the club to continue.  This years committee is only too willing to assist in any handover, official work and the starting up for 2009.

PRESENTATION DAY *** NEW DATE ***

Where  -  Kurri Kurri Aquatic Centre
When  -  6th December 2008
Time  -  12 noon, trophies presentated promptly at 2:00pm
Cost  -  $5 per family, forms to be filled in and paid for prior to the day

We have booked the Kurri Kurri Aquatic Centre for the kids again as it was a great day for all.  There will be the inflatable float in the pool for the kids enjoyment and the skate park for the thrill seekers.  There will be forms available at the next pointscore day to be filled out so we know how many to cater for, we also need to know what riders will be attending, (even if you are bringing another rider with you).  Keep posted for more information.

RAINOUT DAY

As our last ride day was rained out we are aiming to use the 23rd of November as this pointscore.  We will be seeking approval from MNSW prior to confiming the date so please keep posted.  If we are granted this day we will also aim to have a swap meet on that day as well.

SPECIAL NOTE AUSSIE TITLES

Congratulations to our riders who went all the way to Western Australia prior to the long weekend.   I heard it was a great week, special congratulations to the following riders for their outstanding performances with Jason and Dylan being selected to represent NSW.
